A very well run site that is well maintained and has a pleasant atmosphere. Staff are easily recognisable and all were friendly, polite and professional. The accommodation was among the best we have stayed in and was a pleasure to stay in. We were holidaying with our Grandchildren and we found the pool and play areas were excellent for toddlers. A great experience, would recommend this site.

We had a fantastic week at Domain de Kerlann. Great facilities, very clean caravan on a peaceful, private pitch and a lovely happy atmosphere throughout!

A wonderful family holiday. The accommodation was clean and well appointed. The pools were ace and the local area and beaches a real treat.

Lovely stay

Great location, good entertainment & great facilities. Slightly annoying that swimming was restricted in time slots but understandable due to COVID.
Only slight annoyance is I paid for bedding and it was not in our accommodation when we arrived. Reception shut 10 mins after we arrived so spent the first night without sheets. The WIFI also stated it wasn’t secure which was annoying as I paid for it.

We have stayed in siblu/haven Europe sites for at least 20 years. We have been visiting kerlann for about 7 years. However, this is the first time that we have felt excluded as British holidaymakers. We felt that almost the whole welcome pack was in French and that most of the entertainment was in French.
We understand that restrictions are in place due to Covid-19 and that this is not a Siblu issue but a government issue. We feel that the restrictions were on the whole, well handled.
We visit the area annually at present, but are wondering about looking into other local parcs.
I dont want to make this review public as I have read some samning reviews on TripAdvisor and do not wish to add to the negativity. I would however, like the management qt the parc or head office to consider the points I have made as we have had many wonderful holidays at your parcs.
Kay
We loved the site but felt very uncomfortable in the evening at the shows due to the lack of social distancing. Tables and chairs where next to each other meaning you were sat next to a stranger and masks were not worn.

Having arrived early we asked if there was any chance we could get into our cabin early. The first employee took our number and offered to call when the room was ready. We drove by the cabin at 11.30 and saw the cleaners were busy so we're hopeful.
We came back two times, the next two members of staff were not interested and would not check if the cabin was ready just repeated that check-in was not until 5.30. despite this we saw other people getting their keys long before 5.30.

The Entertainment staff were first class, the evening shows they put on were first class, and the professional singer was absolutely brilliant. The whole team really made an effort to entertain us.

We tried this site and Siblu for the first time for a weeks stay in the last week of August 2019. Having previously gone on similar holidays for a few years now with Eurocamp, we tried Siblu for a change as they seemed to offer the same packages for a lot less (we booked 4 months in advance) especially as we now have school aged kids. Having decided on this particular site we chose a specific home and pitch on site at the outset of booking, as from the site plan it looked quite a densely populated site . On arrival were very pleased with our choice of pitch, very spacious and peaceful compared to some other pitches. The home itself was effectively brand new and was the best laid out accommodation we have had to date. We all really appreciated the on site evening entertainment too with a very professional and multi talented group of actors keeping the mainly French and British audience happy, be it hosting a quiz, or the stage or circus shows. All in all a good week in a lovely part of Brittany.

Many thanks for a lovely holiday.
However we have a few points to raise up:
1. One pair of our shoes was stolen from a swimming pool shoe area.
2. In our accommodation we had a broken chair and parasol, dirty sun beds.
3. People were allowed to smoke in a restaurant and entertainment area which made us leave those areas early.
4. We also wish there were some benches or chairs around the children’s play area near the shop, as it was extremely uncomfortable to wait for your child while they finish to play.
Michelle
We had a lovely stay. The only disappointment was the fact the caravan wasn't fully equipped for 8 when we arrived and there were lots of things broken such as outdoor chairs, coffee machine, sun umbrella, glasses and not enough cups or cutlery.
Rupert
Friendly staff, superbly maintained site. Accommodation was spotless, as new.
Catherine
We had a lovely holiday especially as the weather was so good! The pool was great, the arrival area becomes very crowded.

We were pleasantly surprised by Domaine de Kerlann. The accommodation provided was excellent, the camp had more than enough to offer and we were overly impressed by the entertainments crew. The show that they put on and the way they entertained the kids from all ages was highly impressive.
All the bar staff were brilliant and eager to help if needed
The restaurant was really impressive with the quality of the food and the service.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked tocome again next year for the same two weeks. I think that in itself says a lot for the site.

Accommodation was smart and clean, everything worked. Linen was poor quality and for a holiday 1 towel per person is not enough for 8 days of swimming and showering. I had 3 teenagers (12,14,15)- I dragged them up to the teenage night - nothing happened and no interaction with the entertainment team at all - which was a shame. A previous Caravan park we stayed in the head of Animations introduced himself to all the kids every time he saw any of them - it created a great buzz and the kids didn't want to be anywhere near us... unfortunately our kids didn't feel embraced by the Siblu camp site at all. Water Slides were very disappointing. Shop was your best asset - the lady is lovely and the prices very fair..

Excellent Holiday. Pool complex good although older lifeguard very aggressive in manner towards people and not pleasant. Talked about people respecting the rules when he was shouting at them.
Mobile home excellent value although could have done with some basic like long tumblers for drinks, pizza slice and basic cooking g utensils. One small frying pan was not great for a large family. Not sure if it was their at the beginning of the season.
Camp site shop ok . Slightly more expensive than super market but well stocked for first week. Second week you could tell campsite was shutting down. And had limited stock, particularly the last few days.
Restaurant very good and nice selection of different foods reasonably priced.
Entertainment staff tried their best but we didn't go back after first night. Men dressed in wigs prancing around the stage to a song is not our type of entertainment so we stayed away which was a pity as meant little to do at night. Might be nice if their was outside entertainment that come in to the site. Even if their was a charge for this.
On a whole a good campsite and a nice two weeks away.
Dan
We have really enjoyed our stay at the site, it is in a good location with loads of really nice beaches and towns nearby to explore. The pool complex does get really busy and is in need of a revamp as it is getting a bit old and tired, but other than that we could not fault our holiday.
Darren
Great place to stay and would visit again in the future .
Richard Keating
The campsite was superb and the accommodation was very very good. Overall we had a great holiday. The entertainment on site was the best we have seen with Siblu and the animators and reps were wonderful with the kids. The welcome on site was a bit lax as when we arrived the accomadation wasn't ready and we waited an hour and half and did not get a popper welcome or have to do any deposits or go trough any inventory for the caravan.
The local area although very picturesque was very sparse and not really suitable for families with young children.
We have all-ready booked to return to another site with Siblu for next summer but in a hopefully hotter location and somewhere where we can walk to beach and local town and have a bit more to do locally without relaying on the car.
I would highly recommend Domain der Kerlanne if you ant a holiday where you dont go off site for two weeks as the site was absolutely exceptional.
Chris
We really enjoyed our stay at Domaine de Kerlann. The reason "Welcome" scored 7 was due to not having the towel packs and linen packs that we had paid for. I walked back to reception to let them know and we were given towels, but only a single beach towel each and not the packs we had ordered (I didn't discover this until I walked back to accommodation and didn't want to walk back to reception again). The linen was brought round to us so not an issue.
Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming and the accommodation and location were clean and tidy. Bike hire was a welcome bonus and we cycled several times to the beach and other local areas. The entertainment was as expected and our lack of French speaking skill let us down but didn't detract from our overall enjoyment.

Fantastic Holiday

Another lovely stay at a Siblu site. Wonderful caravan and a peaceful site.
Katie
Evening entertainment too late for kids and earlier entertainment for kids not on long enough. Also we were sited behind the old toilet/shower block- what an eyesore, needs pulling down, whole park seemed to need a little more maintaining
Mark
My wife and our 3 children stayed mid August for 1 week. Accommodation was new and clean however very small for our family size. Sheets and pillow cases are a 1 size fits all which is completely ridiculous square pillows rectangular pillow cases. Duvet covers huge compared to duvets that was biggest let down. Bad smell in 1 of the bedrooms
There's a giant pool complex at Domaine de Kerlann, with two heated swimming pools and a huge splash zone, an indoor pool, waterslide and a paddling pool for toddlers. That's more than 700 m² of watery fun!
There are lots of sports and activities for all the family to enjoy every day, with playgrounds, pitches, and entertainment organised by our team.
The focal point every evening at Domaine de Kerlann is our large outdoor stage where our fabulous team put on colourful shows through the summer. Enjoy, songs, dance, and comedy, plus evening shows performed by your children, karaoke, quizzes and lots more!
The "Ti Korrigan" yurt at Domaine de Kerlann delights children with its indoor tubular games. Outside there's a bouncy castle, playgrounds and water games. Come to the Kerlann children's clubs for days filled with activities and laughter!
Your children will have a blast at our free Bubbles Playroom for tots, or one of the free kids' clubs for older children. Bubbles Playroom is a fun-packed space just for little ones with mum or dad, and the kids' clubs offer games, sports and activities led by our friendly bilingual entertainment team, and they're a great place to make new friends!
At only a few miles away, you can discover the centre of Pont-Aven, also nicknamed the city of painters for having welcomed a large number of artists, including Gauguin.
The town is a perfect illustration of Breton charm with its port, its creperies, its flowering rhododendrons. For nature and hiking enthusiasts, the 70 miles of the GR34 linking Concarneau to Clohars-Carnoët are yours! Between Pont Aven and Concarneau, the resort of Névez perfectly reflects all the riches of Finistère, with it's small coves, turquoise waters and picturesque countryside.
At the mouth of the Aven, Port Manec'h rivals in beauty with its unspoiled landscapes and its pretty bathing cabins that adorn its beaches. About 7 miles away, the Pointe de Trévignon hosts an old fort. From there, you will discover an exceptional panorama, which plunges its gaze on the islands of Glénan.
Pont Aven is a masterpiece, placed in Finistère and 9 miles from lovely beaches. On this palette, you'll find many colours brighten up landscapes. There's a school of painting based on the teachings of Paul Gauguin. The town is also known for its inimitable galettes.
With 90 miles of coastline, the Crozon peninsula sums up the soul of Brittany through its unforgettable landscapes. Megaliths, fountains and mills, natural parks and secret coves, small fishing ports and sea caves. Everything here invites an extended stopover. And for lovers of water sports, the peninsula offers great sensations in paddle, surfing, sailing or diving.
Stroll along the coast of Concarneau, along the beaches, let yourself be enchanted by this maritime city and its fishing museum.
A stone's throw from the Gulf of Morbihan (translated as Little sea in Breton), Vannes is an ancient city of 2000 years old, founded by the Romans in 56 BC. A walled and fortified city, it has kept its authentic character, with its half-timbered houses and old quarters skilfully restored.
