This large and lively holiday village really packs a punch, with a large pool complex including indoor and outdoor pools with new slides, fantastic indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities, two lively bars and French restaurant. There are three free children's clubs plus lots of sports facilities, soccer games, tennis courts and even a hairdresser!
Les Charmettes has a great location, close to many great beaches accessible via very safe family-friendly cycle ways. There's the gentle sloping beaches at La Palmyre, perfect for the little ones, or the long sandy beaches of the Cote Sauvage, with waves perfect for body boarding and surfing. For days out, enjoy a trip to La Rochelle and Bordeaux.

At your Les Charmettes campsite, you'll find not 1 but 2 water complexes with different atmospheres, the first located in the Les Charmettes area and the second at La Clé des Champs: with no less than 3 pools, 1 indoor pool, 4 slides, 1 large heated outdoor paddling pool, 1 splash zone, water games, 1 solarium and 500 m² of landscaped beach offering plenty of room to lie out and relax.
Opening times :
April: from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
May, June, September, October and November: from 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
July - August: 10:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The entire aquatic area is open in July and August. 2 pools at a minimum as well as the slides and the splash zone are open the rest of the season. In the aquatic area, swimwear such as swimsuits, boxers, bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, burkinis, etc. made from suitable swimming fabric are permitted. Slides are authorized for children measuring at least 1m.

Join our welcoming and inclusive children's clubs for an unforgettable holiday. There are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make holiday friends at our very special Siblu holiday clubs. A Bubbles area for children aged 1 to 3 accompanied by a parent is also available during July and August.
In July and August, 3 children's clubs are open:
Pirates Club for children aged 4 to 7
Club Barracudas from 8 to 11 years old
Club Ados 12 years and over
They are open 5 days a week, for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, and non-stop during the all-day session once a week. Outside July and August, your little ones can enjoy Club Max (aged 4 to 12)!
Children are welcome, subject to the number of children per activity leader, by reservation and subject to availability.
Children aged 1 to 3 must be accompanied by a parent.
Places to visit near Les Charmettes holiday park
There are five beaches within 5km of Les Charmettes, so this is a seaside favourite. Closest is sandy Grande Côte at La Palmyre, or you can follow the Sentier des Douaniers trail along the coast to discover small coves, such as Bureau and Conché, the large cove of Nauzan, which is ideal for sailing, and Platin beach for beautiful views of the Terre Nègre lighthouse.

Water sports in La Palmyre
You can try out a whole range of waterspouts in nearby La Palmyre, from windsurfing, paddle boarding, kite surfing and jet ski hire. There is also a sailing school if you want to take to the water on a boat or catamaran.

Activities on the Côte Sauvage
The Côte Sauvage is famous for its long sandy beaches next and great waves for a spot of body boarding and surfing. There are lifeguarded sections along the coast, usually during July and August. There's fantastic cycle and walking path that follows the coast along the Cote Sauvage, meaning you can cycle or walk and stop off for a swim at any point!

La Palmyre Zoo
This huge zoo in the Charente is famous for its conservation work and breeding of endangered species, and it's also a great day out for the whole family. There are over 1600 mammals, birds and reptiles to see, a great activity if there's a cloudy day.

Royan
This modern town is recognizable by its fifties architecture, its 'Belle Epoque' districts, its modern church, its market and its fine sandy beaches. It's a great place for a seafood dinner, in one of the many restaurants that line the seafront.

Luna Park
If you love the thrill of the fair, then head to Les Mathes, close to Les Charmettes for the the largest amusement park in the region. Open during July and August, every evening from 8 p.m., this lively parks has lots of rides and attractions that the teens will love.
