Welcome to Cap Ferret, a smart seaside resort on the south west coast of France. Les Embruns is a 4* holiday park with a giant swimming complex with a heated pool and covered pool, plus a wellness area with hamman and two treatment rooms. There are beaches in both directions, so families can relax alongside the gentle waters of Arcachon Bay, or head to the big sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast.

Whether for relaxation or fun, the aquatic complex at the Les Embruns**** campsite has everything you need to have a successful holiday: a paddling pool for your little ones, slides for crazy descents, a bubble bath to recharge your batteries and even a wellness area to let go!
Hours of operation :
April: from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
May, June, September: 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
July - August: 10:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
October - November: from 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The entire aquatic area is open in July and August. The indoor pool, the large outdoor pool and the slides remain open in September. In October and until the beginning of November, you can enjoy the covered pool.
In the aquatic area, swimwear such as swimsuits, boxers, bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, burkinis, etc. made from suitable swimming fabric (lycra) are permitted. Swimming shorts are not permitted.

Choosing Cap Ferret for your holiday means having two destinations for the price of one! On the one hand, the peace and quiet of the Bassin d'Arcachon, with its calm beaches and its tides which reveal a different landscape at every moment of the day. Pastourelles, Michelet, Herbe, Vigne, Bélisaire a multitude of beaches are available to you to enjoy the pleasures of swimming. On the other hand, the ocean beaches in the heart of a pine forest, bordered by magnificent dunes - you will be charmed by the idyllic landscapes: Grand Crohot, Horizon, Garonne, Truc Vert.

Fishing village of l'Herbe
When you go down the stairs, you plunge directly into this small oyster village where you can discover multicoloured huts and taste oysters with your feet in the sand. Stroll through the small alleys and follow the coast to arrive at the small Moorish-style chapel.

The famous lighthouse of Cap Ferret
Are you looking for a breathtaking panorama? Climb the 258 steps of the famous lighthouse and admire from the top of its 57 metres the beauty of the Arcachon basin and its pine forests.

La Dune du Pilat
You can't not go to the top of the Dune du Pilat! Climb the 110m by the stairs and admire the panorama where stretches as far as the eye can see: the dune 3 km long and 600 m wide, the ocean, the forest. Psttt, you have to write Pilat, and not Pyla (seaside resort nearby), Pilat means 'heap' hence the name Dune du Pilat.

The Bird Sanctuary, Bird Island
In the heart of the basin, take a boat and discover this little-known island: half-land, half-water with pretty little inhabited wooden cabins. This place is a true little corner of paradise for birds where more than 400,000 birds of more than 150 different species take refuge. The best known huts are on stilts, these are the cabins on stilts.

25 km of Ocean beaches nestled at the bottom of dunes line the Cap Ferret peninsula. Enough to indulge in the pleasure of surfing in unmissable spots in the South West. If you want to learn how to surf? There are many schools on the coast and even on the campsite.
