Great Family Holiday
Super 2 week family holiday at La Reserve. Top quality mobile and super clean pool (I just wish the pool didnt close at 1.30-2pm every day) This is our 3rd Siblu holiday and we will def be back.
Nestled in a forest, La Reserve holiday village sits on the banks of Lake Biscarosse, where families can laze on the beach and enjoy the shallow waters of the lake. There's a large swimming complex with a heated outdoor pool and waterslide, and the family friendly services include lots of sports, daytime activities, a restaurant, bar and evening entertainment.
Nearby cycle paths head through the region's swathes of pine forest to the coast, where there are giant golden beaches and waves made for surfing, plus the towering Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe.

A great overall stay- we love La Reserve- this is our 6th stay! Lake and beach are just beautiful, kids loved the pool slides. Mobile 228 was basic- absolutely no storage, but we were very grateful fro the air con! Reception staff were super- only other point- kids felt lost in kids club- all instructions and games in French, no consistent translations into English as there was in previous years, very hard on Irish and English kids to join in
Maaike
The employees need to speak english at the reception. Als at the entertainment at night and kidsclub nobody speaks english. We and my daugther at the of 6 years old couldn’t understand anything!

The Village is nice, the personal is heplful, the pull and activities are fine. We enjoyed our vacaciones! Recomended for the families with children.

This was our 11th holiday with Siblu and possibly our last. Next year‘s pricing is proposed to be 38% higher. Are loyal customers expected to fund Siblu‘s COVID recovery? The holiday itself was let down by Siblu security’s inability to control late night noise after midnight from neighbours and beach parties until 3am. Beach parties meant a lot of broken glass in the sand and injuries. Security staff need to increase walking patrols and not just drive around once per hour at 30 kmph in their vehicles.
Emmanuel
Thank you very much to the whole Siblu Team with particular thanks to Magali.
Hermione
Fantastic stay - our 10th year at a Siblu site. Only disappointment was the lack of social distancing and crowding at the pool and entertainment with the Covid situation.
Pamela
Overall we had a fantastic time.
2 problems - we had an issue with the hot water and water pressure which was reported on several occasions but was not fully resolved throughout our stay so the shower was not enjoyable!
On arrival, one of our pitches did not have bed linen or towels provided which had been requested. This was reported but these did not arrive until the following day.

The lake is a fantastic addition to all you'd usually expect from Siblu. It's so shallow that it feels really safe for kids and the sand is beautifully clean.
Entertainment was fantastic - the Circus- themed show might be my favourite ever Siblu show!
Kids clubs were brilliant, shout out to the wonderful Natasha who made my daughter feel really special.

La Reserve is great park, with a fabulous lake and our accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our week very much.
Claire
This is the second time we have been to la reserve and it didn't disappoint, we have already booked for next year but we we are going to try a different site we wouldn't go with anyone else

We hoped that our teenage sons would enjoy a holiday by a lake. Well they certainly did. Full marks to the boat and board hire. And as parents we appreciated the very well stocked supermarket on site that meant very few shopping trips were needed.
I would say the only downside was the restaurant. It wasn't anywhere as bad as the reviews it has been getting. The staff there were absolutely lovely. But the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen does not match the other local restaurants around even though the prices do. If you could get the restaurant up to scratch it would make evenings such a delight as the setting for it is perfect.
Chris
A great, friendly holiday resort. Fantastic entertainment and the luxury of having both a brilliant pool complex and a lake with a beach.
Georgina
A special mention must go to Fred from the entertainment team, he was great with the children.
takeaway nice but very disappointed with service, 2 of the 3 times we used it, it took over one hour to get our food!
Caroline
Plot 53 not for a family with 6 and 4 year old, music blasting until 1am. Used some spare bedding and it had poo on the bedding - horrendous
Kieren
Brilliant family 3 week holiday. Site is safe and secure, so much to do and so easy to use. Kids had a great time at the pool, on the slides, at the lake - doing water sports - playing tennis. Caravan was immaculate and really spacious for 4 of us. Great shop open 12 hours a day with fresh bread and pastries - nice bar and good entertainment- had so much fun at the foam party.
Family friendly and full of fun - a great place.

The bungalow was bigger than other bungalows in other camping. It was perfect.
With everything you may know.
I miss more information in other languages, at least In Engliss.

Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We didn’t take part in many organised activities but my son loved the kids football tournaments! The band Granny Smith were excellent but we didn’t attend many other evening entertainments. Pool complex was great although more shade is needed. Single slide needs to have more water going down it as people got stuck frequently! Accommodation was good but could have been cleaner on arrival. On site restaurant was not appealing and always appeared empty - had read lots of bad reviews in advance so didn’t go there but feel a lot more could be done to improve this and make it a real benefit to guests. Due to the remote location of the camp site we would have used the restaurant frequently if it looked clean and the food looked appetising. Toilets at the lake would be a great benefit. Booked again for next year. Overall a great holiday but would be good to see suggested improvements made for next year.
Pam
A relaxing time.

Had a 2 week stay at la reserve. Was our 3rd holiday with siblu and our first at la reserve. Best siblu experience yet!! Amazing site , the pool, beach and all facilities great. Friendly and helpful staff as always for siblu. Have already booked for mar estang next year but will definitely be back to la reserve soon.
Zoe
Great site & fantastic location with lots to do in the area. Inter Marché only 10 minutes drive and there was an on-site shop for daily essentials. The lakeside beach and pool complex were brilliant - although it would have been lovely to be able to have a drink from the bar by the pool (we had to take turns going to sit by the bar as the kids were in the pool).
The mobile home was good with a great decking area - we hired bed linen which was left in packs but was a nightmare to work out what went with which bed (everything seemed too big!)
Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great holiday for a family of 5. p.s. Speedos now not needed!
Sharon
Generally really pleased. Annoyed that had to pay ££430 security deposit, it was a lot of money and I could not access this money so it came out of my holiday so doing budget. A member of staff at the pool was rude a few times for us leaving our sunbeds for a few minutes , for toilet etc. But didn't tell anyone else around us who were all doing the same. We explained were we had been but he wasn't interested, but annoyed as everyone should be treated the same.
Linda
Lovely site on fabulous safe lake. Great cycle paths. 3 bed mobile was spacious and well fitted out. Mobile could have been a bit cleaner ie toilet and dust in corners. Outside furniture with our mobile number 850 needs to be replaced at this stage. Site well maintained and clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was not good, they managed to burn chips. Take away food better but very slow. This is a fabulous site in a fabulous location but the food let it down badly. Also an area for parents to sit in the evenings while kids watch show where it’s not quite so loud would be nice. Overall though a great holiday.
Diana
mobile home in in the shade under trees, but little shade at the bar/pool
mobil home à l'ombre sous les arbres mais peu d'ombre au bar / à la piscine
Frank
A fantastic family holiday. The centre has a wonderful team of entertainers and kids club staff and lots of pools with really clean water. Food on-site was very very good and all staff member were friendly and helpful.
When it is super busy there aren't any beds left anywhere although this only happened twice in 2 weeks. The queue at arrivals on a Saturday is long and I guess that's the day that everyone tends to arrive but after such a long drive it's slightly tiresome, again though, everyone is super friendly and helpful at the end of that queue.
The lake was lovely and had a great cooling breeze.
We would definitely go back as the surrounding area is also beautiful with lots for families to do. San Sebastien just a short was over the Spanish border is an exceptional place to visit and we stayed over one night which was great.
A very very enjoyable family holiday.
David
En general todo muy bien, me faltó que hablaran español y un problema que tuvimos con la entrega de las llaves.

No evening opening hours of Reception for later arrivals. It would be nice to have public transport to the like of the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very much at ease during our stay.

We loved it!

Our outdoor pool has lots of space for loungers and lazy days in the sun. Plus, there are waterslides, a paddling pool for toddlers and a heated indoor pool.
There is loads to keep you active and entertained on your holiday at La Reserve. From water-skiing, boats and parasailing on the lake, to cycle paths that reach all the way to the coast and playgrounds and sports pitches across the site, there's no end of things to try. And in the evenings, the fun moves to our outside stage where the team hosts family-friendly discos, karaoke, quizzes and our weekly big show for the perfect end to every day.
Kids have all the fun at our children's clubs, where they get to try out cool activities and meet new friends. Clubs running most mornings and afternoons, giving mum and dad a few hours of peace in the sun!
If your family loves beach breaks, you are spoiled for choice at La Reserve. The park is set on the banks of Lake Biscarosse and has its own private beach where you can soak up the sun. Or you can head to one of the many beaches on the coast, where the golden sands stretch on and on and the waves are perfect for bodyboards and surfing. Watersports are a favourite in this part of France and you can book lessons at the sailing school at Lake Biscarosse. For a break from the ocean, you must tackle the challenge of Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, and explore the shops and restaurants of stylish Arcachon. For a day out, head to stylish Bordeaux.
With it being 115 meters high and 2.9 km long, the Dune du Pilat is the largest sand dune in Europe! Because it's the highest point in the Biscarrosse region, it's worth the trek to the top to admire the view across the region.
La Reserve offers watersports from it's own private beach on site and you can trial various sports including pedal boats, kayaking and even initiations to sailing.
Famous for it's lighthouse, this upmarket resort is located at the end of the headland which separates the Atlantic Ocean and Archachon Bay. It's particularly famous for oyster farming and it's beautiful beaches.
Go cool off in the largest water park in Aquitaine! Aqualand - Bassin d'Arcachon guarantees fun for the whole family with its amazing slides and fun pools.
