Lake Canet and its Fishing Village

Explore a remarkable ecosystem during a trip to the Lake Canet-Saint-Nazaire located near Mar Estang. The protected area of 1,100 ha belongs to the Conservatoire du Littoral and is part of the Natura 2000 reserve. The paths around the lake allow you to admire the most preserved landscapes of Canet-en-Roussillon and to observe the animal and plant species that it shelters. A traditional fishing village consisting of 11 huts has also been renovated.
