Listed as a historical monument, the Château d'Usson, located 70km from La Tremblade, offers you a captivating 3-hour treasure hunt in a Renaissance setting. Logic, creativity and skill will help you solve the proposed enigma, by venturing into a maze of boxwood, the castle underground passages or the winter gardens!

You can visit this 64m high monument, by taking a spiral staircase of 300 steps. As a reward, a splendid view of the Pointe de Grave, the Côte Sauvage and the Arvert peninsula...

Meet 75km from our La Tremblade campsite, towards La Baie de l’Aiguillon. It extends from Charente-Maritime to Vendée, connects the Marais Poitevin to the sea. It is the kingdom of mussel farming and the cradle of bouchot mussels. The small village of Charron or that of Esnandes (near La Rochelle) will be two gourmet stops to taste delicious marinière mussels!
